Bought a lil indie game called Tiny Glade. Super fucking chill, no management, no quests, no objectives. Just some basic tools, cute, tilt-shifted graphics, and you build a tiny lil town. It’s adorable and so so relaxing. I was worried for a moment about it being perhaps too barebones, but I’ve built a main street, a lil castle, raised some land and made a flower hill with a lake, and made a silo. There’s a lot they could add, but it’s a bit procedural in a way (increasing/decreasing the size and shape of a building causes it to generate to make sense). Coloured everything I could colour. I have so much more to build for my little hamlet

That’s so nice to be able to chill with something like that.

How much time have you lost to it already?

The beating heart and breathing effects, coupled with the orchestral organ thing going on, make me anxious haha it’s an amazing game! Really cool that there a few ways to approach it too, build up armies, natural disasters, lowering the land, it’s really cool!

Also have a look at Townscaper. That might be too basic maybe.

I have islanders but that’s got a little bit of a twist with laying out stuff and makes you think.

I’ll check those out, I really enjoy city Sims, just the building aspect really. I like the creation.
