Welp I’ve booked weekend accommodations because I refuse to sit in my apartment for my birthday. I’ll hit the road on Thursday and make for the border. Each of the 3 nights away will be a different town along the border (nowhere new… I think I’ve been to all of the border towns now anyway) before I come back to Melbourne on Sunday for dinner with the family to cap off the long weekend.
Looking forward to hitting the road, a few nice dinners and chillaxing.

Well, there’s another border apart from the Murray - try Nhill and the Naracoorte caves.
Naracoorte caves are cool. 👍 The south australia border area is really nice, spectacular coast and inland the forests are beautiful
