    Hypothetical situation.

You are having an extremely busy week at work. You have to bring your work home with you, to the point where you’re not having time for much else, like taking care of yourself.

You have a partner you don’t live with. You tell your partner you can’t see them for a couple of weeks because you’re too busy and having trouble coping. What do you do as the partner in this situation?

Offer some help if I can, even if it’s just to listen to some venting. Maybe take dinner over when things settle down.

      Say

It’s ok. I’m here if you want. Send me messages .It’s up to you.

Is there anything I can do to help, like bring meals over, make pots of coffee or do stuff around the house. Promise not to take up time.
