People already bring their dogs onto trains and buses using prams/strollers.

It’s super hilarious (not) watching people give up their seat to someone with a stroller only to find out it’s a dog.

Wherever I go now there’s just as many dogs in prams/strollers as there are babies.

All the little parks around our place are dog toilets as well. Not allowed to have any nice grassy areas to sit in the sun because everyone’s dog needs to be able to piss and shit whereever they like. It’s ok though because you picked up the shit in a little bag and put it in the bin with the other dog shit bags and it doesn’t stink up the place at all.

We’ll I’ve certainly got some pent up feelings about dogs and dog ownership.

the other 23% think its stupid to have numerous questionably trained (and questionably kept/groomed) animals within close proximity in crowded/enclosed spaces

I have enough trouble putting up with the animals, let alone their dogs!

Wait, that sounds… exactly correct. Cancel edit.

Dogs have been riding PT in Melbourne as long as I can remember and I’ve never seen a kerfuffle erupting in my experience. Go for it, Sydney. Almost everyone will get used to it and get on with their lives.
