Would you date a glacially slow texter? I’m talking 24+ hours for each message.

Important to note they’re a great communicator in person, just not via messaging.

If so, what strategy would you use so that it doesn’t do your head in?

that would drive me up the wall honestly. i can understand if you take time replying if you’re not dating, but once you are together then i expect to have at least semi frequent responses. that would probs be a deal breaker for me idk

It’s definitely a deal breaker if that was me.

A mutual friend of my wife and I is like that. Usually she turns around messages weeks/months later, so whenever this person’s name comes up while my wife and I are talking, I just say to her that I can’t be bothered because we won’t get a reply until months later.

Would I date someone who thinks that a message is a summons to be obeyed?

I suggest more talking on the phone and more in person, exchanging messages is a poor substitute for reality.

Who thinks a message is a summons to be obeyed? I wouldn’t date them either.

If having real time chats is really important to you talk about it with them. Don’t expect them to have esp regarding your messaging expectations.
