minus-squareSir_ListerOfSmeglinkfedilinkarrow-up19·2 years agoThe firing of the employee went down earlier today. They decided to turn it into a resignation to save face. Had to step in to prevent it turning into an argument with their manager, but handled it well. The employee thanked me for my professionalism when I walked them to their car, and they hugged me goodbye. So glad I held a debriefing with their team afterward. It honestly helps me as much as it helps them. Still feeling a bit from it. So my self care starts now with a curried cauliflower pie from Country Cob

minus-squareSir_ListerOfSmeglinkfedilinkarrow-up2·2 years agoCan’t speak for their meat ones, but the vegetarian ones are great. I think it’s more that it’s a treat to have a place offer more than a bland token vegetable pastie
