The Living Wonders climate cases: Federal Court action lodged over mega mines

Australia's Environment Minister, Tanya Plibersek, is being taken to the Federal Court for failing to accept the climate risk of two proposed mega coal mines in NSW, as part of the landmark Living Wonders climate cases.

Scientists and environment groups are bitterly disappointed by the Federal Court’s decision to dismiss two landmark climate cases against Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek and two coal mining companies and are calling for urgent reforms to Australia’s environment laws.
