      Hot tip that I found out last time I had a UTI - if you end up needing a prescription, ask your gp to give you one with a repeat. That way, if you get another within a year, you already have a prescription ready to go. If you don’t, go get the script anyway and the medicine lasts 3 years. Saves you another trip to the gp/the bill.

      Just make sure you take complete the full cycle of the pills because antibiotic-resistant bacteria is a terrifying reality

      Nooooooo mega RIP :'( Mate, if it’s really bad, I’d recommend you just go straight to any drs and get an antibiotic and be done with it.

      In my experience “flushing it out” only works on mild infections and only when they’re at the start. One time I tried it over covid lockdowns and it kept coming back over a month, by the time I saw the GP I had to take an antibiotic that fucked up my GI tract for another month.
