Nah I know what you mean! My place barely gets sun and has no flywire - some of my doors and walls have like, moisture on them and dust.
My electric stove top only has two working burners, and if course the non-working ones are the two big ones (apparently minimum requirement is at least two, so I can’t get the RE to fix it until another one goes).
They installed fluffy wool carpet all throughout the appt, and I’m fighting carpet moths, but if I stay another 3 years it will have depreciated entirely lol
But! They’ve only the raised the rent once, by $10 per week, in the four years I’ve been here. So I guess I can’t complain 😂
Yeah, things I know I can legally whinge about and the likely result of doing so are not compatible. This agent has a horrid reputation on many fronts.
It sucks being a tenant and having to pick our battles.
I’m guessing ray white or Barry plant - I’ve had terrible terrible experiences with them both. My current one is pretty good though, no major issues with them yet -knock on wood-
See if you can find a fungicide maybe, and keep the cats out of that room if you apply it. My Epping house had the same issue with mushrooms in the bathroom, because the landlord refused to fix the leaky toilet in there. Had to use the dingy one in the laundry lol. He was a slumlord though, so I didn’t bother trying to fix it myself.
No, it’s a mob beginning with T you will find many bad reviews on purplePingers etc. Eill kill it easily enough, more that it shouldn’t happen in the first place
