I just now received my ballot and read the “Candidate Leaflet” brochure.
We had two choices and they both read like some sort of pre-rolled DnD characters.
One was like a generous Cleric and other was like a selfish Necromancer.
I have a feeling that due to the base instincts and gullibility of my neighbours, the evil necromancer will likely get in. His campaign is based on less bile and more road lanes, arresting children and anti-wokeness.
The joke is that he has a Hindi or Sikh surname and the most base instinct of my neighbours is racism.
Ours waa a mixed bag, and quite a few candidates said a lot about themselves but nothing about what they’d do. S2g one straight read like a tumblr bio, i was looking for the DNI

Up here in Qld our election is a bit like that. One party literally came out today saying they hate preferential voting and love developers bribing politicians.
