I don’t know why my split system does this but I can’t change it from heating to cooling.
To get around it I have to go into my bed room and set that one to either heating or cooling with a remote then walk back into my living room and using that remote turn on the system and it’ll be set to whatever setting I used in the bed room.
If I try and directly move from heating and cooling the split system will double beep at me and won’t switch or turn on.

Maybe it’s glitched and trying to treat the bedroom as the primary control?
It’s what I’m thinking but I don’t know what’s caused it or how to fix it if there’s a fix.
The documentation is very barebones.
