I understand, and have moments of that myself. It is worth it, there is love and sunshine and they cost nothing.

Tomorrow is a new day. Survival is winning, even if it’s tough.

I’ve been poor. It’s all you think about.

I feel that myself.

After spending years on an informal no-buy I’ve now started allowing myself an occasional treat or looking at affordable alternatives for getting what I need.

Plus reminding myself that I’m not completely destitute, that things are tight but I’m choosing not to eat into my savings.

But that’s such a mood.
