What’s for dinner tonight?
Chicken Kiev in the dining room of a pub which is still a classic pub and hasn’t been modernised.
thanks to me mistiming things and an empty fridge because I was away all week, I had a three course freezer meal:
3 gyoza to start freezer fish in the oven sweet potato chips (when they crisp up) with sweet chilli and sour cream
Oh and a gin and tonic for sides and, a handful of jelly beans for dessert.
ooh, its more like a five course old-greeeeeegs degustation menu…
Fried chicken for the kids and nothing much for me. Mr P made himself some pasta earlier which nobody wanted any of (I’d planned for pasta tomorrow after I go to the Essendon Farmers Market).
Grilled chicken, basmati rice, pico de gallo, apple cider slaw.
End of the Moors & Christians festival (spoiler alert, Christians won), which makes it weird because there are no marching bands, fireworks, and people dressed in costumes for the first time this month… we live in a silly place.

It’s a toast and tea kinda night.
That’s basically what I had lol, just some toasted Turkish bread and a cup of tea.
