    Especially considering the trauma the victim will have to live with for the rest of their life.

    People should not be defined by their past or past victimhood. People are strong and most manage to live good lives after trauma.

      I know. But I just know for me, that I’m just… angry that I have to live with it, whereas my abuser doesn’t get the same effect for what he did to me. You know?
