I don’t give a damn about antimaskers or weird looks, but being a large solidly built middle-aged woman in steel caps can tend to put people off talking to me on public transport about their antimask bullshit. I’m the only one in my house with a job, and as a casual employee I can’t afford time off due to totally preventable illness. The colds/flus/whatever they are going around at the moment are dynamite. My MIL is 90 and frail, my partner has many health issues, and I don’t have time for people who think they’re clever passing their ignorant bigotry towards the immunocompromised.
