This is the only fiction series I have ever seen based on Native American people and their lives. There may have been other series.
If just for that this series is worth watching. But it’s also really well written, well acted and has a good story. The scenery is beautiful too.

I cried the whole way through. This movie depicts the intense inner life of children. They feel everything so deeply. Inspired I think by The Bicycle Thief but this is from the point of view of children.
