I absolutely hate those things. A neighbour once had one and I could hear it from 3 houses away. I asked him could he turn it off and he said it was to keep birds away. People who don’t like birds or whatever they are trying to eliminate should just move into a concrete box apartment with no balcony and put up shutters on the windows, enjoy their lack of nature and leave the rest of us to enjoy peace with trees and birds.
