When my wife needed a new car, I said to her “do you just want my new SUV and I’ll buy a shitbox for myself?” “No no no, I want my own”. Ok. sure, i mean you helped pick the SUV but whatever. I subtly pushed her into a compromise we’d both be happy with on a hunch, and boy was I right cause she’s nicked my car again! Officially, the reasoning is “Diesel is a lot cheaper at the moment”, Fair! but would that really stop you driving your new (to you) car? I’m not buying it. I think I just got screwed out of another car by her haha
