    thermals, a good puffy jacket, woollen socks (no unnatural fibres/blends), a beanie, and lots of firewood. A decent sleeping bag is a must, and a proper sleeping mat (not a lilo or anything similar - those things offer no protection at all).

      I’ve got a cheapie kmart sleeping mat, I might need to consider upgrading. Thermals are a good idea.
