    Does nobody in Melbourne say”eshay” because I’ve definitely heard it on some occasions. 🤔

      I do. I’ve heard it’s more a Sydney word but I don’t know what the Melbourne equivalent would be.

      I’ve heard it a lot in the coming years. But when I was in highschool me and my mates called them lads. Eshay feels like a Sydney name. But, to be fair, the friend who kind of spearheaded the whole “lads” thing was born in England (though he’s live in Australia for like his entire life).

      I’ve used it to describe my BIL.

      he’s like a walking advertisement for Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, and Adidas.
