    Would not surprise me. Early 1900s, the orcas of Twofold Bay in NSW were notorious for herding whales into the path of the whaling boats so that the whalers could kill them and give the orcas the tongues as a reward. The whalers got the bits of the whale they wanted and the orcas got an easy meal. The orcas only did this for the whaling boats that had the underside painted in stripes apparently. There are whole books about this.
