I remember the raiding days in MMOs. The amount of time I devoted to FFXI and WoW was next level, it really did feel like a 2nd job with attendance and stuff.
At least with FFXI I was just burning time leveling and wasn’t good enough to raid due to time zone differences.
What changed my mindset was when WoW released an expansion with a level cap boost and it invalidated all my raid equipment almost instantly. It made me feel as if all the raiding I done had been for nothing.
Right, that’s such a shit feeling! New expansions have felt hard to get into because of that invalidation, however after a break, I keep feeling the urge to get back…
Never done any multiplayer stuff in the FF world, interesting!
