I feel you. It might not be your cup of tea - but if you get Procreate Pocket or an android alternative you can get ideas down on your phone without having to set up or pack anything away.
Ps. To my knowledge Procreate/Pocket is only available for iPad or iPhone so don’t try to download it for android. You’ll likely be downloading a scammy virus
