Glaze took 5-6 hours to process 4 small images on medium and just returned an error on my favourite one… Fuckkkk. But I can post the landscapes now (as late as it is). The picture of Melbcat can be posted tomorrow.

Keep in mind that while I did traditional art as a kid I’ve been art blocked for a long time. I’m also new to digital, this was done on a phone screen half the size of a hanky and also in the first few weeks of having the app. So I was and am still learning to use it. (If this post is still being weird - there are three pieces of art.)

    Blue Mountain

This is the chronological first one. It’s so intensely blue because it’s meant to be at the ‘blue hour’ of dawn or dusk. I like the colours I randomly picked by eye but it’s overall it’s a bit dark to see well at smaller sizes. Opening it in a new tab helps.

    Spring Morning Hill

I don’t like these colours as much. I picked from a premade palette and the colours are a little samey. It’s early morning and breezes are kicking up hayfevery pollen.

    Desert Cactus

Same deal, premade palette. To be honest this was just done acting on a simple piece of advice for breaking art block. “Draw a cactus.”

      Digging the Spring Hill.

Others are good too, but that one gives me video game vibes.

      Nice work

I like how every picture leads your eye in a different direction. 😊 The waterfall leads down, the stream leads across to the right and the cactus leads up

Thanks! I made it a little weird looking but uh… that’s just how they grow in harsh conditions. Yeah.

You have a natural eye for composition and I like the simplicity and balance of your pics. I particularly like the Spring Hill one!

Thanks! I haven’t been taught/read up about it or anything so just made up shapes
