My miniature garden aqueduct is working well. I have an old sink near here that I use for garden stuff which is not plumbed to drainage, so I put the green tub under it to collect the water, which I used to just empty directly onto the garden. I have a bunch of concrete spoon drain pieces and bricks from old paving around the house, so created this to take most of the water across to the base of the apricot tree. A fair bit leaks along the way too keeping other plants watered.
This reminds me of an invention that a friend’s dad made at a party. He cut a large pvc pipe long ways, suspended it on bricks and had a bucket at the end to collect the waste for his lemon trees. It was a homemade urinal around the side of the house.

I went to a week long event where a few guys put handles on potted lemon trees and carried them around as personal pissoir
Impressive water feature!
The romans would be jealous!
If it ends up being El Nino I’m gonna do a similar thing with buckets and watering the garden. The budget didnt go as far as a water tank this year.
