Feels nice to feel like I’m in a position of power in requesting a raise at work. While it would be nice if they meet my request (~10% increase), I’m actually feeling okay to put my money where my mouth is and start actively applying elsewhere. They would be silly to let me go for this amount, but I wouldn’t put it past them.
