      reddit was a bad-news, doomscrolling aggregator of chaos.

      It’s dreadful, it would feed my depression something awful, the newspapers were worse

      I’m not sure but keeping emotions even probably facilitates recovery from depression, I do know it feels better to not seesaw

      It was indeed. For a while I actually kind of felt like I needed the drama and chaos of Karen’s screaming at minimum wage cashiers, and idiots tailgating causing accidents. But now that I’m used to it, I kind of appreciate not going “what a fucking tosser” to every single post I see. It’s doing wonders for my mental health! (who could’ve ever predicted being surrounded by constant negativity would screw up your mind?)
