I’m reading The Burrow at the moment. It’s excellent but also set during Melbourne lockdown. I think there’s enough distance now for it to not take me right back there emotionally, and it’s not the focus of the book, but it’s a bit weird. Reliving the easing restrictions and density limits and all that shit.

I don’t think I COULD read a book with that setting. In a city I didn’t know it might be different, but not Melbourne
Neither could I. Still too soon, too close. Would need to be 10 years from the end of lockdowns imo
