    The embiggening appears to have worked. I think my feet look quite fetching.

    I’ll now be wearing them until bedtime just to make sure they settle in to the peculiarities of my feet

        Nah. 20 bucks at Big W. Runners don’t last me long anyway because my gait is weird, so if I’m going to experiment with styles I go cheap. I go more upmarket once I’m sure the style suits me and I won’t destroy canvas shoes in six weeks!
