First of all I got “Drawing On The Right Side Of The Brain” by Betty Edwards. I snapped that up because that wasn’t going to last.
“The Acrylic Painter’s Book Of Styles & Techniques” by Rachel Rubin Wolf.
“Drawing Anatomy: An Artist’s Guide To The Human Figure” by Barrington Barber.
And “Oil Painting Portraits” by Ray Smith.
These are good because of fundamentals and having step by step studies to teach technique. But because I don’t have the juice to do the work (and don’t know when I will) I’m kind of just hoarding them. I feel like a fake.

I struggle with doing projects and reading so I try to do lots of little things , just one thing at a time
and getting those books shows you have analytical skills and are organising what you need to learn , that’s an accomplishment already 😊
