I did end up skipping roast and all the classic Chrissy things. But somebody dropped by, and I was gifted a small blow up pool and some solar powered fairy lights which is very dope. Blew and filled it up today, probably not gonna go for a dip til the morrow though
Apparently one of the Indian restaurants near my house is open, so I’m thinking I might take a quick shower then nip down for lunch. They’re very nice there, and their food is affordable. Tbh I don’t really like roasts (except for roast chooks, but I don’t have the patience to cook those), so I’d take a curry over a roast lamb any day of the week
When hottest 100 day comes, I reckon I might pull up my speaker and have a lazy day in the pool listening along. The only thing I’m worried about is that my hallway and every entrance is carpeted, so if I need to go for a funny run or want to grab a drink, I’ll have to towel off outside and wait til I stop dripping. Might need to buy some kind of tarp to put down or something
