When I asked for more antibiotics the receptionist was kind of snippy on the phone and didn’t think I should have them, but then relented and said she’d ask. Then I went to pick them up and once she recognised me from the phone I kind of got a grumpy ‘oh’.

I would have thought it was just the busy time of year but she spoke more nicely to the guy who came in after me. And no, I wasn’t being blunt or rude myself. I was consciously being very polite and almost feeling like I had to beg. I left the last dentist because of the receptionist there… I will be keeping an eye on the interactions. 🫤

Edit: She also brought up that I had cancelled an appointment before Xmas but that was purely because they weren’t going to let me leave alone after a procedure and the person I had couldn’t make it. I would have attended if not the case.
