    I just got a phone call. It was automated “something something visa department regarding 2 transactions” then I hung up. Was that the smartest thing to do?

      Yeah or don’t answer them at all if you know they’re phishing scams.

          oh ok, I’ve gotten to just saying Hmmm? when I get mysterious calls or I don’t say anything at all.

            Smart. I don’t normally answer them at all. I don’t know why I did today.

              I often answer if its unknown (a few family members like to set their numbers to unknown for work reasons). I should really stop answering even if Truecaller doesn’t identify them as a scam.
