The correct answer is “I should get there at 10.30 but I’ll let you know if anything changes”.
Yeah. Sometimes you just don’t know how long something will take, and that’s okay too. But bullshitting an answer always works out worse if you have no clue how long it’ll take. Within my line of work ETAs are almost always “within the hour”.
