It worked a couple of times but one time the egg white exploded all over the inside of the microwave. Not sure if it was because it built up too much heat and caused a hot air pocket to form. Yoke was still intact though.
minus-squareThornburywitchlinkfedilinkarrow-up2·2 years agoIt’s more of a problem with an egg that’s not quite fresh as the natural air pocket inside is bigger. Also maybe 10 secs too long in microwave? That was the mistake I made the last time I had an eggsplosion.
