Honestly I appreciate the dedication to journalistic integrity in this April Fool’s Day joke.
This is a good April Fools, almost makes you wish it were true!
There would be so many injuries. You can still see the stuff they put on the previous slides to stop people from killing themselves and others.
Is there any reason why they’re not actually doing this?
I’m imagining some poor sod that’s just flown in from a more conservative and traditional location. They’ve spotted a few things that seem a bit off (bare feet at the airport?) but things are mostly OK. Then they get to Parliament Station.
Centre frame: petrified person wearing clothes for winter climate clutching baggage at top of slide. Camera zooms out suddenly. Normal trainstation noises continue in background.
Clarification: the pilot was the one with bare feet.

They already have 2 down escalators and now they’re adding slides?? They really want people on the subway.
Why don’t we use more slides.
Because of stupid liability lawsuits.
