With so many dipping sauce ideas it was hard to make a choice, so I ended up making 4. I have a vinegar & ginger, vinegar soy & chlli, spring onion oil, and a gyoza sauce recipe that included pretty much everything - vinegar, soy, chili, garlic, ginger, spring onion, sesame seeds and sesame oil.
I also decided to make some satay sticks, so I also have a peanut sauce to go with them. The sauce worked out really well, I may be tempted to dip all the dumplings in that too!
It all took a bit longer than expected, but It’s all done now - including a birthday cake for desert (plain vanilla) and I made a small extra cake so I’m enjoying a slice of that before bed.
