Just had a ridiculously loud Harley zoom past. I thought there were noise limits on cars and bikes, but I suspect they are never really enforced. This thing was louder than truck air brakes, was verging on painful as it went by. The riders of these bikes must surely be deaf after regular exposures.

They’re in front of the pipes and have helmets covering their ears. It’s not as loud for them.
