Guys, which do you like the most and is value for money?
KFC where the chicken pieces are so small and you always end up with mostly bones (drumsticks and wings)? The tenders are the size of nuggets? And nuggets are wafer thin? And the chicken is all dry because it’s been sitting under the heaters for hours? Chips always soggy and half cold? KFC where most of their boxes/meals are made up of anything but chicken?
Local charcoal chicken every time. Half the price, twice the size of chicken. And crispy chips with proper chicken salt. I’ll also take a whole chook from Woolies or Coles for $12 rather than KFC.
I’ve been so disappointed with KFC, if I get a craving for it, I make my own. There’s even recipes included in the KFC wiki article. They’re close enough to satisfy my craving, and I often use it as a coating for my chicken schnitty. And every time, I think, this is way better than the last time I had KFC.
Why get KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) when you can get KFC (Korean Fried Chicken)?
I tried Korean fried chicken and loved it but their pricing is ridiculous.
I will always choose the local restaurant over a franchise, specially an American franchise. Plus charcoal chicken tastes sooooooooo much better than fried chicken
Either local or Nando’s, my local one has decent chicken atleast
Local
Al Jannah is significantly better than KFC and has stores opening in a few states. Lovely fried chicken, burgers, wraps, grilled chicken etc.
Making me hungry!
