Seven packages of what police believe is cocaine have washed up on beaches between Newcastle and Sydney covered in barnacles.
“Seven! Yep! We found Seven!” said the strangely energetic beachcombers that found the suspected cocaine.
The six packages were taken for further testing.
Police report test results for all three packages have come back as positive for cocaine.
Both packages will be destroyed by police this week.
The single package of cocaine due for destruction was reported as being misplaced. An internal investigation is underway.
They probably have the bends from all of the diving. Look, that one’s nose is bleeding, yup, definitely bends.
Indeed, six packages were found at the site, local police says.
“Barnacles on coke” sounds more fun than the article made it seem.
They’re barnacles all they ever want to talk about are their other yachts or the months long “sailing expeditions”

it was about 18 months ago there was a big bust in newcastle port from memory, i wonder if any of it is related (dumped goods) or how common it is to just find washed up cocaine
