It’s too easy to hide under the safety blanket of maintaining little social interaction without some external change imo. I reckon the move and your trip home will really help you, especially that sense of connection and feeling wanted from healthy family members. It’s why I’m pondering taking a break from Melbourne to live interstate near family I like for a while, not that they’d be my be all and end all, but a bit more of a solid part of my life routine.
