Wargh, when I have a good day it’s like I live in another realm and don’t need to eat till 11pm and am effortlessly up till way too late going over everything 2454952 times - but I think The Stupid Project With The Boss that’s been dragging on for far too long is finally, well and truly, completely, DONE as far as my involvement goes - I can draw a line through that now.
A really fun project I quoted before got accepted after months, but I’m no longer going to be able to do any of the work on it, most likely. Bittersweet but still for the best. Whoever ends up going better be effing grateful they get to hike in and out of a very beautiful part of the world (and even camp overnight!) to look at plants and record some simple things 🥲
We’re now down to the actual thing I stayed on to do. Chances are it won’t get done for a while but if I can set up the bones before I go I can chip away at it when I’m sick of family and when I get back. I want to be done by the end of November. Eyes on the prize…
