My house is filled with soft fluffy pet beds, cat baskets etc. Yet Miss Meow has decided to curl up on the vinyl covered weights bench for a nap.
Oh course, it’s like spending hundreds of dollars on all that stuff and all they’re interested is the cardboard box it all came in.
One of mine sleeps on my sound mixing desk. I have no idea how that could be comfortable. There’s a thin cloth over where all the leads go in so she doesn’t chew them and she lies on that. I think it might get warm but still… They just like things we use and being near or on things which smell like us. I watch a lot of pet cat youtubes so I learned this recently. Senior cat wellness is probably the most wholesome channel on the internet.

One of our 9 month old cats loves to chill on my desk while I play video games… Blocking one of the four laptop fan outlets to take in all the warmth.
