    years ago (like 30+) our family moved back to Melbourne from the UK. We opened our seafreight boxes 3months later to find the packers had fully packed the kitchen - including all the food in the fridge, vegetables, ham and other obvious perishables - that is certainly a box i would never want to open again

      I’ve done removals. We had a container from England one time. It’s common in professional removals to have a “Knick Knacks / Important stuff box”. Mostly TV remotes, packs of furniture bolts and lego found under furniture. The ones from England sometimes had a kettle, mugs, tea and UHT milk.
