    I’m honestly surprised that the Coalition’s China hawks haven’t been more vocal about this publicly, and I’d be very interested to know how this is being discussed behind closed doors.

    A no vote should it eventuate is going to be a regional geopolitical hindrance.

      Internal politics trumps external. The LNP is the party that deftly negotiated extensive trade sanctions against Australia for no apparent reason other than wanting to appear tough for 5 minutes with brain dead sound bites for the daily news.

      Nothing they do has to be consistent just scream No to everything and throw shit at the wall hoping to get everything dirty so the electorate doesn’t know which way is up.
