    We spend more money, time, and effort on trying to get a few grand back from the poorest on Centrelink than the millions stolen by a few rich cunts.

    They’re still chasing debts from the 70s? I highly doubt anybody that worked for Centrelink in the 70s is even still there today! Now I want to know how much that debt is, because I really can’t fathom even CL chasing 45 year old debts unless they’re for hundreds of thousands of dollars

      Centrelink is technically fairly new and came into existence in the late 90s. Before that we had the CES which wasn’t as draconian as Centrelink.
