I took some pics of the mini dishwasher. Sorry there’s no banana for scale. They’re also kind of minimal because I didn’t want to post any clutter or my reflection. You will get the rough idea though.

I didn’t use the tap attachment but let me know if you want me to try that and take some pictures.

This is a large Corelle dinner plate.

You can fit some in at an angle.

Just load carefully. lol (showing size)

I didn’t take a pic of the previous wash but here’s one with the pet bowls.

You can see how I Tetrised in a lot of small items while there’s still heaps of unused room up top. That’s what I meant when I said it might have been nice to have an optional top rack. I do have clearance room for it to be a smidge taller.

There’s no cover to the detergent dispenser but eh.

Here’s the fill jug and the fill tray. You fit the lip of the tray’s hole into the water tank inlet hole and slowly pour into the tray.

The supplied fill jug has weirdly marked increments so just listen to the machine. Once it receives the 5 litres it makes a series of rapid panicked beeps. If it doesn’t do that and the tap icon is showing just keep pouring in a little more.

You can see the drainage pipe at the side - that just goes over and sits in the sink. There’s a suction cup to hold it in place or out of the way if needed but just draping it over does me fine.

Ps. I did reposition that ramekin at an angle before starting! Was just focused on getting the demo pics

It’s cute but I kind of wish I got something with more room and better energy efficiency

Thanks for posting. I’ll keep doing research on them, but I’m pretty sure I need something similar as it’s too hard to keep up with the dishes currently.

Thanks for the pics! That’s worse energy efficiency than I would’ve guessed. I thought dishwashers were pretty efficient when it comes to both electricity and water usage, so I wonder what it is about putting it on a bench that makes it less efficient. You have to load it with cold water, right? That might be it. I think normal dishwashers generally connect up to the hot water pipe and then heat it as needed

I’m also wondering whether double decker models exist and are worthwhile. That seems like an alright amount of space, although you’d really need to practice loading and work out how much you can fit in it without ruining it’s cleaning capabilities

Is it heavy? Are you able to move it yourself? Any risk of leaving gouge marks on the bench do you reckon?

(Also heads up your partial reflection is in your last 2 photos on the tiles if you wanted to remove them)

Yeah I was a bit sad to see such low energy efficiency :( And the water efficiency isn’t amazing either. Loading is annoying so I would possibly have gone for something bigger. But at least I have something.

Yeah it’s cold water, it must heat it by itself.

I was able to move it by myself with a little difficulty. It was very big and awkward in the box but not as bad out. I dragged the whole thing over and then was able to deadlift the unboxed unit onto the bench.

Edit: Thanks bro I removed them

Yeah. Maybe it’s kind of like dryers and more expensive models are more efficient. Pretty typical rich get richer type thing. Ah well, please if you don’t mind share some updates in a month or two as you’ve used it more and gotten used to all its little quirks!

Yeah I think that’s absolutely the case. This was a Big W buy so maybe Appliances Online might have offered something more efficient for a bit more money.

I just was desperate to sort my kitchen out and got something cheaper sooner

Yeah, I get that. Dishes are my biggest struggle with cleaning. I probably won’t get one for a few months, but when I do I’ll be so happy

              Go enjoy your dishy!
