I’m surprised I don’t have any blackbirds around as I have put down lots of mulch they normally like scratching in. But I don’t recall seeing a blackbird in ages. I do have an occassional mynah. I did have a pair of currawongs and a wattle bird this morning, hopefully they will come back for the next survey.
I usually have wattlebirds as they like the salvia here (but not lately for some reason), and the blackbirds have been busy rearranging all my new mulch. We have a ‘they scratch it out and I rake it back’ system going on
