If you’ve got the finances to, I say absolutely go for it and buy that benchtop dishwasher. Someone yesterday suggested appliances online, and that’s actually who my dryer is coming through. According to their policies, they require your ID and card (or at least an ID with the same name as on the card) to be presented before they’ll deliver it, and they won’t leave it. Oh, also, you get to choose a specific delivery day at no cost, so you could line it up for the next day you’re at home. (I think they also said they’ll call you with a few hours timeslot on the day of the delivery, so although you don’t get to choose and can’t plan around it, you wouldn’t necessarily have to be home the whole day)

Unless you’re worried about somebody breaking in and stealing it. That I cant help with, unless your landlord wouldn’t get shitty at you for bolting it onto the bench with some kind of anti theft system that’d probably cost the same price as the dishwasher

Appliances Online are great for delivery, they won’t just dump and run like some delivery services. Like Baku said, you pick your day and your timeslot, they confirm in the morning and give you a call when they’re half hour away. I don’t think they actually checked my ID either times I’ve had something delivered though.
