I dabbled in am-dram many years ago. The premise of this play sounded good and we were happy to drop $60 on tickets to support the local group, but it got off to a bad start because one of the floor mics they had set up had fallen over so literally you couldn’t hear any of the dialogue over the sound of the actors’ feet shuffling around the stage. The story had every cliched whodunnit trope you can imagine as well.
